Did You Know – Transaction Descriptions
Transaction Descriptions – Save for Recall
As part of the entry of supplier invoices you have the option to enter a transaction description, this will often appear on remittances or enquiry screens. When you’re often entering the same descriptions, you can use the <F11> key to save the entered description and this will be offered via a drop-down icon on next entry to save re-keying.
This list is shared between all users for the application/company. You can edit the saved list by using the ‘Word List’ option on the home tab when entering an invoice.
This option is also available in other applications – for example Cashbook Receipt / Payment entry, Nominal Journal entry, and Stock Transaction entry. Each with their own list of saved descriptions.
